Q: Where does the information come from?

A: The information comes from internal and external databases. An organisation’s internal database will provide information that can be geo-referenced such as a customer’s postcode address. In order to assess the effect of ‘outside’ influences, many organisations procure external databases, e.g.: retail, demographic or economic data that can indicate possible potential in the market for expansion.
